My name is Kathleen and I am the founder of The Transit Tribe. My fellow Transit Tribe members are my family, my 3 kids M, H and E and my parents.

I wanted to create this blog as a way to share our experiences as we navigate life travelling but also our homeschooling journey. A little over a year ago I started up as an Independent Travel Consultant working from home. This was after a long search of finding a job I could do from home whilst homeschooling the kids and also that they could be part of. As this was going to be a family venture that was how The Transit Tribe was created. 

The first year has been spent learning all about the industry and doing a lot of supplier training. We continue to learn everyday and I there is always new training and supplier updates. From time to time I will share with you what training I have been completing.

From this blog we will share our experiences as we travel around and find the best places to go. We will also share our journey as a homeschooling family and how we all learn together. I have to say it has been the best decision pulling the kids out of school and embarking on this journey of learning together.
